Current YouTube Loves

Lately I've been spending an increasing amount of time watching videos on YouTube. I've discovered some new channels I absolutely love and thought I'd share them with you.

I'm just in love with their lil' daughter Ava. She is the cutest.
I love watching their lil family. I'm relatively new to Vlogs. At first it felt a bit weird, like I was siting there stalking people's life.. but now I see it more as a good drama free reality tv (youtube).. if I should call it that.

How to Cake It
I discovered Yolanda Gampp (cake genius) on instagram, then found her YouTube page.
This woman amazes me, omg omg.. I absolutely Love her! She can make pretty much bake anything you can think of into a cake.. and she got a pretty good sense of humor too.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah
A lil' atypical. The news, given to you with a lil' bit of humor.
I'm not in the US and can't watch a full episode, so I like to catch up with lil peices on YouTube.

Time for Change..

Things never quite happen the way we plan them or when we think they should.
That's just life. Maybe the timing is just not right. I don't want to go on with endless details about everything because there is no going back. What's done is done. I just want to center my thoughts on the positive and how to go forward.
Now on my mind:

How can I improve myself

How can I create new opportunities for myself

What are my alternatives

How do I keep moving forward


In order for things to change I have to change something.
First I want to improve my discipline, because I know it could definitely be a lot better.

First resolutions:

Be up earlier.

Be more consistent with my workouts

Drink more water

Be more organised

last be not least Thank God Everyday


I think that's a decent number of changes to implement in the next 21 days.. or at least until they become a habit. Then I'd go from there and set new changes and/or challenges.

5 Reasons I Workout


I love working out. Recently I've been slacking a bit and I notice how it negatively affected my days.
I know not everybody has a love for exercising so I basically decided to write a post on some of the reasons why I love to workout and the benefits I gain from it. Hopefully this would motivate someone out there to be more active.
Here are 5 reasons I workout..


Health

OK we all know this one, we need to eat healthy and exercise to stay Fit and Healthy.
I really like my food :P, but I try my best to keep a relatively healthy diet and workout to stay in shape and maintain a healthy body.

Focus.
When I am working out I clear my mind and stay focus on whatever exercise I am doing on that moment. I noticed how with time I subconsciously started doing this when performing other daily tasks and just how great my focus is on days I work out.

Stamina
Morning workouts are my favorites. They just get me in a good mind state for the rest of the day. Not just that but the more I improve my endurance, the more energy I seem to have.

Confidence
You know that moment during a workout when you feel like you're going to die?.. but you push a lil harder and you make it?.. surviving that moment just shows me how much my mental can affect what I'm doing and that sense of accomplishment gives me an extra confidence to tackle whatever challenge I may face during the day.

Relax
When I'm upset or after a hard stressful day, I like to channel that negative energy into a good workout, it helps me unwind. Plus I love the awesome feeling I get after a workout.

Fun Things to Enjoy This Weekend

It's the weekend baby. I know a lot of us get excited about the weekend and finally getting some time off from school or work to just relax. I try to enjoy everyday of the week but I love the weekend just a little more. I get to sleep in if I want to, hang with some friends, catch up on my favorite shows..  

Here are a few fun things you could enjoy this weekend.

Exercise 
No excuses, wake up and get your workout in. I promise you will feel so good afterwards and you'll be so proud of yourself. Whatever you thing is.. hit the gym, go for a jog, take walk in the park, cycle around..

Binge watch your favorite show 
I don't know about you but I have a list of tv shows I love and I don't always get to see them during the week. The weekend is the perfect time for me to just sit with some pop corn or cereal and catch up on everything. You don't have to do this by yourself. You can sit with a sibling or a friend and get some quality time together.
You can also go out and watch a movie.                     

Hang with friends 
Spending time with friends is always entertaining regardless of whatever we do. It doesn't have to be extra or expensive. You can have deep conversations, silly ones, play a game of twister or scrabble, enjoy a nice meal... the fun is always greater when shared. 

Cook
Perfect time to try new recipes, bake something you like. You can also start preparing planning and preparing your meals for the week ahead. This will save you some time and prevent you from improvising and indulging on unhealthy snacks. 

Read
There are a million amazing books out there just waiting for you. Pick a random on and enjoy a good fiction, drama, inspiration.. let words carry you away and make you dream.

Enjoy a warm bath 
One of the simplest way to unwind. Put some nice music on, light a few candles, clear you mind and just enjoy. .
